An Opus Called Rain

An Opus Called Rain

October 15, 2010  |  Poetry

A majestic melody of waters resound
Who arranged such sweet refrain?

Notes with rich timbre and variant tones
A polyphony of elements sustain

Plipping – plopping – dripping – dropping
With intent like music in staves

Each bead full of brilliance, splendor and beauty
Composing an opus called Rain

Far beyond scores this masterpiece dwells
For the soul it shall call its domain

Affixing its cadence to the heart of the Author
Vowing that Peace shall reign
